Sierra Leone’s ambassador Michael Imran Knau reiterated the Council’s call for inclusive political processes. “The Security Council has repeatedly called for a meaningful inclusion of women in conflict resolution,” he said, urging the transitional government to enable “transparent, free and fair elections,” advance a people-driven constitution, and fully implement the 2018 Revitalized Peace Agreement.
